A sad week

Buenas Dias!

Well this week was kind of crazy! I learned lots of lessons! The week started off on a sad note. Two Elders went home both of them were from my district and they were Elders that you never would have imagined would be sent home. Especially for the reason why they were sent home. Hearing about them going home really made me sad, but it also made me realize how real Satan is and that he knows exactly where we are weak. And that we can even fall in the mission.

Some other things happened this week that really made think about what kind of person I am. I realized how gossip can really hurt someone and how you react when you are put in that situation. I thought a lot about Mom and the example she was to me and how you just have to forgive and let things roll off your back.

We are teaching a lot of youth right now. One of them is Jackie she has been through a lot in her life. She has accepted to be baptized. Last night we learned of all the things she has experienced. Part of me felt like there is no way she can change. And maybe she won’t, but I know that  the power of the atonement can overcome all sin. I know that God wants all of his children to come unto him, not just the righteous.

I should have changes in the next few weeks, it’s crazy to think that I won’t be here for the rest of the mission, I felt like I have been here forever and there is so much I want to do before I leave!

I hope you are all doing great!
I love and pray for you all the time!

5 Questions – Morning Routine

1. What time do you get up in the morning 6 :30

2. What’s your bed like?
It its a twin? The small one I don’t know what it’s called. I am the first one to use it so that is exciting. I use three really thick fleece blankets and one I brought from home.

3. What do you eat for breakfast?
Oatmeal (I know! I have changed my ways!) or eggs with tortillas with eggs and black beans.

4. What do you do for personal and companionship study?
Right now I am reading the Libro de Mormon in Spanish. For comp study we read the manual missional then plan our lessons for the day and do role plays and follow the 12 week training manual for my comp.

5. What time do you go out in the morning, and how do you decide what you’re going to do when you leave your house?
11, we plan what we are going to do the night before so we already know what we are going to do before we leave.
