Miraculous Cotton Balls!

Buenos Dias!

How are yall doing? Things here are great.

This week was really great. We had a multi zone conference. What I got most out of the conference is the importance of giving a little bit more and working just a little bit harder. Hermana Bautista asked each of us to think of what more we need to give to build the kingdom of God on Earth.

May mention that I love the ward I am serving in. I have learned so much from the bishop here. Also because they have called ward missionaries! Wooo! There are five of them; 2 of them have their mission calls and the other 3 are preparing to serve. Yesterday we had a really great meeting with them. We talked about the importance of member missionary work and of the Book of Mormon. We watched a little video. In the video, Elder Eyring said that God sends his prepared children to hear the gospel from his prepared servants. I know that’s true for missionaries and for members. All of God’s children need to hear the gospel and choose for themselves if they want to accept it and he needs his servants to be prepared to share it.
This week was Hermana Rayas’ B-day. I ordered McDonald's delivery for breakfast because our stove broke and my plan to make French toast didn’t really pan out. We ate at a member’s house and Glaydis and Marta had a little party for her in the evening it was nice.

The weather here has been rainy all week and I think it will be that way for a while.

Oh hey I got your package! Thank you! Did you know that that package was a miracle! Let me tell you why. So last week I basically had 5 dollars to my name. But I knew I had some money on my card from the mission. We went to the store to buy cotton balls and a toothbrush. But I only had enough money for the cotton balls. But the lady told me I had to buy at least 25 quetz worth of items or I couldn’t use my card. But I only had 23 quetz. Well to my surprise when I got home I opened my package to find cotton balls and a toothbrush in my box. And a nailbrush, which I was going to buy the other week but didn’t because I was trying to save my money. And when you think about it, it’s pretty funny you send cotton balls because that’s kind of a weird thing to send half way across the globe, but thank you very much! And the soap is working great! And my comp loved the chocolate and says thanks also!

Love you lots!
